Low Cost Spay/Neuter Voucher Program
Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous sponsor, Second Chance Pet Rescue is proud to offer a spay/neuter assistance voucher program.
The program is open to anyone who needs to have their dog or cat spayed or neutered.
The spay/neuter voucher program is an easy way for you to attain the assistance you need to have your pet altered at one of three area veterinarians.
Second Chance Pet Rescue is proud to have four veterinary partners in our campaign to make spay/neuter affordable to everyone.
Our participating veterinarians are the Fairland Veterinary Hospital in Fairland OK, the Animal Clinic of Joplin in Joplin, MO, Joplin Humane Society Spay/Neuter Clinic in Joplin, MO, Grant Veterinary Clinic in Grove, OK and The Veterinary Center in Miami, OK.
How does the voucher program work?
Vouchers are available to purchase at Second Chance Pet Rescue. The cost of the voucher will be dependent on the type of pet you have.
Vouchers for dogs are $10; vouchers for cats are $5. The voucher surgery value (the cost of surgery that the voucher will pay for) is as follows:
$35 for a male cat $40 for a female cat
$55 for a female dog under 50lbs $70 for a female dog over 50lbs
$45 for a male dog under 50lbs $55 for a male dog over 50lbs
This program is for personal pets only. Funds that have been generously donated for this program are specifically to help pet owners get their pets fixed. We cannot issue vouchers to other rescues. Vouchers will only be issued to the pet owner and the pet owner must take the pet to the vet.
Limit three vouchers per family.
